It is the most widely accepted graduate admissions test world-wide. It measures your verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing skills that are necessary for success in graduate and business school. GRE provides a common measure for comparing candidates’ qualifications.
GRE scores are used by admissions committees and fellowship panels to supplement your undergraduate records, recommendation letters, and other qualifications for graduate-level study.
The overall time for the test is 3 hours and 45 minutes and it is a computer-based test that is available all through out the year.
